On July 14, 2025 (Sunday) at around 12:00 PM, approximately 100 troops from the MDF+AA forces launched a three-pronged military operation aiming to seize the CDF-Mara headquarters. As of noon, intense clashes have been reported in two locations: between Miefawkôtlah village and Lao village, and between Miefawkôtlah and Khwapi Luu village.

It is reported that CDF-Mara is putting up strong resistance to prevent the fall of its headquarters. MDF+AA forces are known to reject peace and unity among Mara communities, instead choosing internal bloodshed. They have repeatedly carried out violent actions against the Mara people and the CDF-Mara. This group does not accept Chin identity and relies on the AA, making them traitors to their ethnicity.
